Swami Advayananda
Swami Advayananda, President of the Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), began his spiritual journey with the Chinmaya Mission at the young age of 18. Inspired by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, he joined Sandeepany Sadhanalaya and was bestowed diksha by Pujya Gurudev himself in 1992. He was initiated into the holy order of Sanyasa in 2003 by Pujya Guruji, Swami Tejomayananda, former Head of the Chinmaya Mission Worldwide.
While he served the Mission initially at their Centres at Kodaikanal and Trichy, Swami Advayananda took charge of Spiritual and Cultural Education at the Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS), Coimbatore in 1996. After sculpting the lives of a generation of young adults, he became the Acharya of Sandeepany Vidyamandir, Mumbai in 2000 and conducted the Vedanta Courses in Tamil and English for young spiritual seekers
Since 2003, taking charge of CIF, the Research Wing of the Global Chinmaya Mission, Swami Advayananda has overseen a significant expansion in the research publications and Home Study Courses of CIF. An accomplished teacher of Vedanta, with many Gita and Upanishad J?anaYaj?as to his credit, Swamiji has authored several books such as the Holy Gita Ready Reference, a course in Advanced Vedanta, and research articles titled ?Vedanta Unveiled?, a series of articles in Tapovan Prasad. He has also edited Vedantic works in English and Sanskrit including the Foundation Vedanta Course, a course in Bhagavadgita, Ishvaradarshan and Suktisudha.
Swami Advayananda was part of the team that researched and coordinated the Upanishad Ganga Doordarshan teleserial produced by Chinmaya Creations. He also served as the? Acharya of the 15th Vedanta Course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai.
Most recently, Swamiji has overseen and co-redacted the publication of the 2-volume Brahmasutra Shankarabhashyam, a profound and student-friendly English translation of the Adi Shankaracharya?s commentary on the Brahmasutra with a detailed exposition that is extensively footnoted from 10 sub-commentaries.
Swami Sharadananda
Swami Sharadananda joined the 2002 batch of the Vedanta Course under Swami Iswarananda at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai. Prior to joining the Chinmaya Mission, Swamiji studied various Indian spiritual disciplines including Vedanta & Yoga from different ashrams and institutions like Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh; Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, etc. A post graduate in Advaita Vedanta, Swamiji ranked first at the All India level and was awarded a gold medal from the prestigious Sanskrit University, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi.
Swamiji assisted Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda in imparting Sanskrit to the students of the 13th Vedanta Course Batch at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya. A year after this batch, Swamiji was the course facilitator for the Purohit Course (batch of 2010) at Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore. The eloquent, erudite and versatile Swamiji was again appointed Upacharya for the 15th Sandeepany Vedanta Course (Batch of 2013), where he mesmerized his students with his evening classes on the Srimad Bhagavatam and also gave them excellent grounding in Sanskrit. Formerly known as Br. Samvid Chaitanya, Swamiji received Sanyasa-diksha from Pujya Guruji on Mahashivaratri Day in 2014. Swami Sharadananda joined Chinmaya International Foundation in March 2014.
Brni. Devaki Chaitanya
Devakiji was posted to CIF after she completed her Vedanta Course at the Sandeepany Sadhanalaya in September 2013. Devakiji has been vested with the responsibility of spearheading grass root activities of the Mission(Balavihar, CHYK classes, Devi group, Study group, Yajnas on Bhagavatam and the Bhagavadgita) in the villages and hamlets neighboring Veliyanad.
Sri.Rammohan
Sri. Rammohan was associated with Chinmaya Missions at Los Angeles and San Jose serving as a member. Later posted at Coca-cola in Atlanta, he continued to serve as Bhagavad Gita & Vedanta Satsang coordinator at Chinmaya Mission Alpharetta. Sri. Rammohan joined the two year residential Vedanta Course at Chinmaya Mission Mumbai under the tutelage of Swami Advayananda. On completion, at the behest of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, former head of Chinmaya Mission , he took up the responsibility of serving at Chinmaya Mission Alpharetta. From 2014 Sri. Rammohan is serving at CIF in various capacities. He has served as Head of IT wing of CIF, spearheading many initiatives, the major one being the online audio video Satsang.
Known for his good command of the English language and crisp clarity in explaining concepts of Vedanta, Sri. Rammohan has been conducting many Webinars sessions in Bhagavad Gita, Foundation Vedanta and Advanced Vedanta. Many serious seekers of Vedanta? have been guided by Sri. Rammohan through online classes, Satsang and course assessment reviews. Also has taught & conducted satsangs covering a number of spiritual texts such as Bhagavad Gita, Prakarana Granthas , Spiritual wisdom extracts from Shrimad Bhagavatam and Bhakti texts covering key topics in Advaita Vedanta in a systematic manner with examples and illustrations bringing greater clarity to concepts.
Smt. Shanthi Rammohan
Smt. Shanthi Rammohan was associated with Chinmaya Missions at Los Angeles and San Jose serving as a member. Later moving to Atlanta, Smt. Shanthi continued to serve as Bhagavad Gita & Vedanta Satsang coordinator at Chinmaya Mission Alpharetta. She joined the two year residential Vedanta Course at Chinmaya Mission Mumbai under the tutelage of Swami Advayananda. On completion of the two year course, at the behest of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, former head of Chinmaya Mission, she took up the responsibility of serving at Chinmaya Mission Alpharetta.
From 2014, Smt.Shanthi has been serving at CIF in various capacities. She served as the administrator of Home Study Courses. Known for her good command over English language and crisp clarity in explaining concepts of Vedanta, Smt. Shanthi has been conducting many Webinars sessions in Bhagavad Gita, Foundation Vedanta and Advanced Vedanta. Numerous serious seekers of Vedanta are being? guided by Smt. Br. Sudheer Chaitanya, completed the Vedanta Course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya Mumbai under Swami Advayananda and Swami Sharadananda from the 15th Batch of Vedanta Course, 2011-2013.
Br. Sudheer Chaitaya is the State Coordinatorr Chinmaya Yuvakendra, Kerala.and currently serving at Chinmaya Mission, Kottayam.
